About Jim M. Paul
Jim M. Paul specializes in State and Federal Appointed Receiverships in Trusts, Estates, and
Foreclosure Litigation cases is involved in property management, general construction, and real
estate sales. His areas of concentration include but are not limited to: Retail shops and malls,
commercial strip centers, golf courses, mobile home parks, residential developments, single
family and multi-family homes, apartment complexes, mixed use developments, gas stations, car
washes, storage facilities, medical facilities, hotels/motels, restaurants, convenient stores, mid-
rise buildings, condominiums, daycares, industrial parks, warehouses, office parks, churches,
equestrian facilities, OEM/manufacturing buildings, construction sites, family and business trusts
and estates.
Among his many business accomplishments, most notably, Jim founded the ALPS Group in
1995. The ALPS Group is a multifaceted company that specializes in the real estate industry and
in equities. The ALPS Group provides a wide range of cost-effective services, including assisting
companies manage and maximize the value of their asset, resolving any specific property issues
they may have, and company restructuring.
Jim is a Top Gun Producer in multi-million-dollar real estate sales, an Advisory Consultant to
lending institutions for asset management and REO disposition, including asset evaluation, and
provides general contracting services for high level commercial and residential projects. Jim has
been recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business for Creative Community Development Design.
His accomplishments include developments in Illinois, Indiana, and Florida. He has built sites as
large as up to 235 acres. In addition, he has started seven successful companies in multiple
markets. Some of the companies include mold remediation, furniture, and real estate land
development.
In the past, Jim served as a Director on the Board for the Southwest Homebuilder Association
and as an Associate Director of Soil & Water Conversation District.
